Musical adaptation of Charles Dickens’ Oliver Twist. A classic tale of the orphan Oliver, who runs away from the workhouse and falls in with a group of boys trained to be pickpockets by an elderly criminal mentor in 1830s London.

About Ovingham Reading Room
Following a lottery grant in 2021, Ovingham Reading Room benefits from excellent acoustics and a modern, high-quality audio-visual system. Run by a group of around 12 regular volunteers, the Reading Room Film Night screens films monthly, all year round. From Jan 2024 Film Night will be on the first Friday evening of each month, though they have recently introduced occasional matinees to their programme. They have a varied and family-friendly programme and are always open to suggestions for future films. There is a licensed bar and other refreshments for sale, including during a short interval in the middle of the film.
