Presented by Tarset First Thursday Films

Author of the hit series Vera, Ann Cleeves, will be giving a pre-film talk and Q&A at this event!

The people of St. Kilda, a tiny Scottish island, have maintained the same simple lifestyle for generations. When the younger adults that inhabit the island begin to leave for more satisfyingly modern lives, the elders start to realize that their culture is disappearing.

There will be a licensed bar and a raffle at this event. All proceeds from the evening will be split between Cullercoats Lifeboat (Ann’s choice of charity) and the Tarset Diary local community newsletter.
