Mina and her husband Halim have built a careful life together running a traditional caftan store in old town Morocco, despite the open secret of Halim’s homosexuality. After a sudden illness and the arrival of a young apprentice, their perfect balance begins to shift.

Run by volunteers, Wylam Community Cinema meets once a month upstairs in Wylam Insitute. We show a mixture of more mainstream and foreign-language/independent films. With a licenced bar and café-style seating, Wylam Community Cinema offers high-quality films in a very relaxed setting.
